The State Forests Trust of Oregon, a 501(c3) nonprofit (previously known as the Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust), engages with Oregonians to increase their understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of their OregonWe offer lifelong learning, promote outdoor recreation, and ensure everyone's access to these precious landscapes State Forests. .

The recently formulated Recreation, Education, and Interpretation (REI) Program Strategic Plan 2023-26 by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF), enables us to focus our strategy and initiatives to the goals and needs of the Department.

This year, we are pleased to have supported the reopening of the Tillamook Forest Center, the Santiam State Forest experimental replanting project near recreation sites, and visitor-use research at the Black Rock Mountain Bike Area. Stay tuned for more exciting opportunities to make a difference.
